The King Charles III Coronation Medal celebrates individuals who have made a significant impact on their communities, and we are thrilled to acknowledge two incredible leaders in British Columbia’s business improvement sector:
✨ Patricia Barnes, Executive Director of Hastings North BIA and Vice President of BIABC, received the King Charles III Coronation Medal on February 24, 2025. Patricia was recognized “in recognition of your public service, your work in our community as Executive Director of Hastings North BIA and as a leader in grassroots community economic development.” Her dedication to fostering economic growth, supporting small businesses, and championing community-driven initiatives has made a lasting impact in British Columbia.
✨ Michelle Barile, Executive Director of Kits on Broadway, was also honored with the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2024 for her leadership and contributions to the local business community. Michelle has been a driving force in enhancing and promoting West Broadway, ensuring the neighborhood thrives as a vibrant and welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.
