As the chill of winter sets in, these wines become the heroes of the season, their robust flavors echoing the hearty cravings stirred by the falling temperatures. Don’t just endure the cold, embrace it with us, and let the warmth of our sumptuous reds ignite your senses!
Join Chris Reid, a 20 year wine professional at the Broadway Wine Shop for a tasting journey through some rich, velvety wines, carefully curated for the colder months. From bold Napa Cabernet Sauvignons to nuanced Tuscan Merlots, and the distinctive flavors of Malbecs grown in South American vineyards, our lineup is designed to bring comfort and joy to your winter nights.
As we taste through these luxurious reds, we’ll explore their origins, tasting profiles, and discuss why they are the perfect companions for the fireside. This won’t be a pretentious wine affair – just a cozy gathering with good company and delectable wines.
Along with the wines, we will have cheeses and charcuterie from our favourite local food purveyors.

Christmas Open House 🎁

We’re thrilled to invite you to our 9th Annual Christmas Open House, a favorite holiday tradition we look forward to every year. This event is all about coming together as a community, catching up with old friends, and making new memories.
No need to dress up; just drop by to say hello and enjoy some cozy moments with some of our mulled wine. We’ve got a nice selection of holiday sippers to taste, a big batch of mulled wine brewing, and tasty treats to share. Plus, if you’re looking for that perfect bottle or a unique gift, we’re here to help.
Join us in the true spirit of the season on Sunday, December 17th, from 2 to 5 pm. We can’t wait to share some festive cheer with all of you!

All Things Bubbly & Sweet Event
MONDAY, DECEMBER 18th, 7:30–9 PM
On Monday, December 18th, we have an extra special event. Join us as we reminisce about our first ‘dessert and dessert wine’ event, circa 1991. Those fond memories have inspired us to recreate that memorable experience and end this year on a sweet and nostalgic note!
On this night, we’ll taste a curated selection of sparkling, dessert wines and winter spirits accompanied by delicious treats from some of our favourite local pastry chefs and chocolatiers, such as our friends at Folke Restaurant, Thomas Haas and Ça Croustille, just to name a few. This delightful event wraps-up our long table series of 2023, allowing us to bid the year farewell. Bring your friends and family, join us at our family table!
