Important research to help inform strategy in Vancouver’s new Business and Economy Office.

Vancouver’s BIA Partnership and Downtown Vancouver BIA partnered with LOCO BC to quantify and assess changes in the cost of doing business in Vancouver.

This research helped identify pain points for businesses within the City of Vancouver’s jurisdiction to inform strategy in Vancouver’s new Business and Economy Office.

Commercial Affordability Study

The West Broadway BIA, in partnership with other business areas, commercial property owners, and small business stakeholders, is particpating on a pivotal project to help support commercial affordability and independent business, especially in new developments.

The goal of the project is to identify innovative models, tools, potential policy changes that can help improve affordability and keep independent businesses as part of existing and new developments. Visit LOCO BC for more information.
