Bellissima proudly opened its first location in 1975. Situated on Pender Street in downtown Vancouver it was known then as Serena’s. Husband and wife team River and Serena worked hard to grow their small business in size and stature. In 1981 Serena’s sister Viviana joined them by opening an Alberta branch with the first store in Calgary. Slowly but surely the company continued to expand opening new locations in Edmonton, Kelowna, and Victoria. As it expanded it continued to expand its horizons seeking out new designers, opening new locations and eventually even starting their own brand. Today Bellissima is still a family run business that has grown from one store with 4 staff members to 22 stores across Canada and over 400 employees. Providing fabulous styles ranging from casual wear to formal and specializing in business casual, you’ll be sure to find everything from the perfect evening dress to comfortable and stylish outfits for the weekend to a fabulous office ensemble where you will be the envy of your coworkers.
