Kidsbooks has been a Kitsilano staple since they opened the doors at their original West 4th location in 1983. After almost 30 years on West Broadway at Trafalgar, Kidsbooks has found a new, bigger and better home just down the street at 2557 West Broadway. Here they join a number of West Broadway’s kid-friendly businesses with Yoga Buttons, Babes on Fourth, Bopomo Pictures, Aunt Em’s – and soon to be Sparkle & Junebug just steps away!
Doors are now officially open to a fresh new space and plenty of happy customers. Within the store they have created distinctive areas, each with their own fun and colourful details. In addition to the more space there is also the added bonus of free underground parking!
True to it’s name, Kidsbooks offers hundreds of books for kids ranging from those nostalgic childhood classics to new titles, but also stock a number of adult fiction, biographies, and cookbooks. Bring the whole family cause there’s definitely something for everyone – from babies to tweens, young adults to the young at heart. Even though it may feel different we are happy to report you’ll find the same friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and of course, a great selection of books!
