The West Broadway Business Improvement Association’s Stars on Broadway campaign celebrates over 70 eats, shops and services that have been in business for over 20 years!
In partnership with local art schools and artists, we animated the street with caricature illustrations of the long-time merchants on 73 street banners, and featured their unique stores and stories. We are excited to announce the Vancouver Public Library’s Kitsilano Branch, Kitsilano Community Centre and Kitsilano Neighbourhood House are continuing to honour our long-time merchants with a dedicated exhibit, ‘Stories on Broadway’.

Join us Friday April 21st from 6:30pm – 8:30pm for the ‘Stories on Broadway’ launch event when you can take in the exhibit while you chat with the merchants themselves. Staff from VPL Special Collections will also be available to answer your questions about local history resources and will have a display of historical photographs of the Broadway corridor. Enjoy light refreshments and prizes from local merchants.
The exhibit is being held in partnership with the West Broadway BIA, Vancouver Public Library, Kitsilano Community Centre and Kitsilano Neighbourhood House.
