Notte’s Bon Ton Pastry has been offering a delicious variety of pastries, cakes, desserts & baked goods made from the best quality ingredients since 1926. In fact, they make them exactly the same way as they did when they opened their doors for the first time. In the late sixties, the Bon Ton was acquired by Alessandro Notte, the elder son, and Alain Notte, the youngest son. It was originally established downtown at 874 Granville street, and in 2000 they made the move to their current location at 3150 West Broadway. After a year in Kitsilano Alessandro Notte retired while his son Alain O. Notte and long-time employee Giovanni Bizzuti joined Alain Notte in the bakery. Alain Notte’s mom, who lived to 109 years old, swore her secret to longevity was “one Bon Ton Pastry per day, but not two!”
