Chef Montri is a fixture in Vancouver’s Thai cuisine. Originally, his popular restaurant opened in Kitsilano in 1990 and quickly became legendary. After over 15 successful years and to many customers’ dismay he took a break from the restaurant business, traveled back and forth to Thailand, and spent time cooking and re-inventing before re-launching at West Broadway and Trafalgar. Montri has returned to Kitsilano with some old favourites like signature curries as well as newly developed dishes; no matter what you try, you can’t go wrong.
