Kitsilano merchants and organizations in the West Broadway business area are coming together with Family Services of Greater Vancouver to create a special holiday for 80 local families in need. The families struggle with huge financial constraints, and the holidays can be especially stressful. This is an opportunity to see the burden on these parents and put a smile on their children’s faces.
Star ornaments that name a “wish” either from a child, parent or whole family will be on display at participating locations. Customers can purchase an item from a ornament and return the unwrapped donation to participating locations by December 20th.
